As an information security officer (ISO), you want to get notifications automatically to act in time. Therefore, you can maintain various alerts:

The tab “Escalations” allows you to configure various escalation stages: modify the default ones or extend them by additional stages. At certain times, an email with your notification text is sent. This moment relates to the issue’s creation timestamp or the maintained due date.

For necessary recurring risk assessments, such issues can be automatically transitioned into the status “re-assess” and assigned to their responsible parties, who will be notified automatically by Jira. As an ISO, you don’t have to remind your colleagues!
